Hello!  Thank you for visiting my page.  I was born and raised in the beautiful State of Michigan, where I attended Michigan State University; GO GREEN. After graduating, I moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, and became a Montessori Teacher.  I met my husband, Matt, and we had our first daughter, Estelle!  In 2013 we moved to Lexington, KY, and welcomed our second daughter, Clara.  With two young children at home, I took a break from teaching, which is when MOMS IN THE MOMENT was born.

I have always loved the art of photography, but it wasn't until I became a mom that I tapped into that love with a focus in mind!  High-quality, affordable photography that includes moms as family members rather than the designated photographers.  I have been learning and growing in this field since 2016, and the journey is just beginning!
